KEVIN WALSH: Though I have lived in New York for many more years than I choose to admit here, Boston is my second favorite city and I have visited a total of 15-20 times over the years. Unfortunately, my favorite pizza joint was bulldozed years ago. I've been attracted to its ancient subway, the trolleys New York never should have given up and the ancientness of it all.
A blatant imitation of Forgotten-NY by its creator Kevin Walsh and correspondent Sean Colby: a compendium of the unusual, mundane, and ancient things usually overlooked as you walk the streets of Boston.

SEAN COLBY: My name is Sean Colby, and I was born and raised in Boston. I am a firefighter, and during my off time I enjoy visiting New York City, traveling, watching retro/classic movies and 80's sitcoms, and photography. I currently live in Boston with my fianceé.

I'd like to thank my mother and father for the endless amount of information and facts they gave me about old Boston and for teaching me how fun history can be; my brothers for their company on my endless picture taking journeys; and my lovely fianceé just because-XOXO. I dedicate this page to these wonderful people.

I wish you could have seen this page dad, but somehow, I know you still can...thanks for everything

Sean: My personal interests include photography, traveling, Dunkin' Donuts coffee, history, learning and speaking Spanish, and re-runs of old 70's and 80's sitcoms (especially Cheers-go figure).

I live in Boston with my family, whom I'd like to thank for both providing some of the historical/geographical information for the site as well as joining me on my various trips into the city to locate new material and get pictures. When I'm not working, I most of all enjoy spending my free time with them and my friends.
